How convinced are you?

R U Pissed, Rude and Proud?

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Father, Please forgive me for my pride and anger, create in me a new heart and fill me with your LOVE so I then can share that love with others.  I ask for your peace which surpasses all understanding, today. Amen!

You want me to love that A-Hole? Really!

Father,  your instruction is not easy on my own.  Only with you this is possible, please fill me with your love, your wisdom, your grace today.  Holy Spirit illuminate your WORD, instruct my mind, stir my heart, challenge my will and change my life.  Amen!

Father, Thank you for being the only source of truth.  Please forgive me of my daily sins and guide me towards your path.  Grow in me a trust and faith that fully relies on you.  Amen! 

Where is your fortress?

Father, I witness that in my limited experience of life that Religious folks do the exact opposite.  The scarlet letter mentality is alive and well throughout our world and especially inside the church.  Help us individually to embrace your word and embrace our neighbor fully knowing that each one of us need to be gently restored in some aspect of our lives...... Please forgive me, please strengthen me, please protect me.  Amen!

Want Wisdom? Ask HIM!

If any of you lacks wisdom he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.                                        -James 1:5

Father, I ask you for wisdom, direction, protection, and to be included on the resume of Jesus for perfection.  In your name I pray. Amen!

Father, your mercy, grace and love are great.  Thank you for proving me wrong again and showing up and proving to me you are real.  Forgive me for my doubts and strengthen me and renew a right spirit within me.  In your name I pray, Amen.

Google - How do I escape temptation?

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.                                  - 1 Corinthians 10:13

Father, I trust your word and will run to you when temptation has me cornered.  Give me the wisdom needed and help me to be on guard.  And as always, thank you for being my comforter and protector.  In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!

Stop Complaining and Shine!

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life.
Philippians 2:14-16

Father, help me to shine YOU in a crooked and depraved generation.  You are the only salvation, to you be the glory.  Thank you for daily grace and mercy and unconditional love.  Thanks be to you, oh Lord.
