THE PAST! What happened in the past?

This is what the Lord says—“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.                         - Isaiah 43:18-19

Father, help me to focus on the new thing! The past is getting smaller and smaller in the rear view window.  I am excited for the road with you that is in front of me.  Thanks for letting me be one of your Wingmen.  All glory, honor and praise are yours. Amen!

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Father, Teach me, Guide me, Protect me in this new creation gift that you have given me through your Son, Jesus. Amen!

WHAT? I can forgive, but never FORGET! It's not in the BOOK!

“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.                                                           - Isaiah 43:25

Father, you have forgiven me of my sins through Jesus.  Help me to blot out the sins of others and forgive them as well.  You, Your Word are great.  All thanks and praise be yours.  In your name I pray. Amen!

Abortion! It is a man's issue first! Let's stand up.

Father, Help us as men to stand up and end the abortion issue in your world.  
In your name I pray, Amen!

Pay attention to the Red Words, it is from Jesus!

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.' - Luke 4:8

Father, Worship and Serve can only be done with a true heart that trusts completely.  Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me to truly Worship and Serve you.  In your name I pray, Amen!

Time for a Thought Check!

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. -Philippians 4:8

Father, You are True, Noble, Just, Pure, Lovely, Good, Excellent and Praiseworthy. Help me to see you in my life daily through nature and other people. Thanks be you oh Lord! Amen!

Trust-in, Rely-on, Wait-for, Believe-in, Rejoice-in, Relax-in HIS goodness

"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." James 4:8

Father, Draw me close... expand my trust... strengthen my belief... give me patience. Teach me to rely everyday on your promises so that I can rejoice in you and fully relax in your presence.  In your name I pray, Amen.

The Lord says what??

Sin=Death or Life=Jesus. We all will be forced to choose! Like it or not...

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Father, thank you for the ultimate Christmas gift, Your son, Jesus.  Thank you for the grace that you give me daily. Thank you for the freedom to serve you. Thank you for THE Sign! THE Son!

The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.                                         - Isaiah 7:14

Father, your sign, your Son is an amazing gift to me and the world.  Thank you for giving me the good news and help me to share it with others in my daily activities.  Amen!

God delivers as promised!

The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like [Moses] from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.                                                              - Deuteronomy 18:15

Father, thank you for giving us your Son, Jesus.  His example of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Goodness and Self Control gives me the map.  Help me to devote my attention - energy - focus. Amen!

What does the Lord Require?

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.                                  - Micah 6:8

Father, increase my desire to know you.  Everyday activities distract me because I think they are only my concerns.  Help me to realize that by including you in all of my activities, it will be right and good.  Lord in your Mercy, hear my prayer. Amen!

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. -1 Corinthians 13:2

Father, thank you for the many examples of Faith lived out in ordinary lives. Jesus, thank you for the perfect example for me to focus on. Holy Spirit, thank you for the daily coaching and support to help me persevere for the individual race that you have assigned. Amen!
