Jesus, show me how to delight in U! Teach me UR ways! I believe and ask for help with my unbelief! Protect me this day from distractions and fill me with your grace, mercy, and peace!  In UR name I pray, So-B-It! Amen!

The Parable of the Rich Fool

13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” 15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ 20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” 

The FOOL

1. Is clueless of context
2. Misjudges the true source of his success
3. Constantly engages in self-centered thinking
4. Cares more about his comfort than his calling
5. Misses what matters most

The WISE

1. Gives credit to GOD, not self
2. Grows his standard of giving, not just his standard of living
3. Maintains his focus on the eternal, not the temporal

Father, open the eyes of my heart to see you clearly. You, the one and only source from where all gifts come from: the gift of breath, the gift of health, the gift of family, the gift of financial income, the gift of a roof over our head, the gift of friendship, and on and on it goes! Thanks B 2 U O Christ!

Come Holy Spirit and fill me with your fruit, your wisdom, and your strength. Protect me this day with the Armor and the sword of your word. In the name of Jesus I pray! So-B-It! Amen! 

Move over FEAR! The spirit of Power, of Love, and of Sound Mind R Here!

Father, U alone R our refuge! Elohim, the creator! El Elyon, God Most High! 

Forgive me 4 the times that I lose sight of knowing this! I ask 2 know U better, I ask 4 strengthened faith, I ask 4 UR wisdom.

my prayer: Father, Holy Spirit help me today when I have opportunities to indulge in the flesh, choose life in the Spirit instead. When I feel a desire to avenge myself, promote myself, slander someone, or engage in a sinful activity, help me 2 choose life in the Spirit instead. I choose to love U and others. Coach me and teach me 2 live in step with the Spirit and discover the amazing life he longs to guide me into today.  Thanks B 2 U oh Christ! Amen!

 My Prayer:  Father, this is hard and only can be done with faith and trust in you! U know my desires to revenge even the littlest things like being cutoff in traffic, and much, much more... Forgive me!

My Prayer: Father, thank U for being the ultimate refuge! Thank U for being the ultimate strength! U command us to rejoice in all things, even in times of trouble. So today I rejoice in U and seek refuge in U.

Abba, help me to grow stronger in asking for UR help in ALL things! 

• When I am happy - the praise and honor R URs! 
• When I am sad - comfort and protect me! 
• When I am lost - please light the path and map me back!
• When I sin against U in thought, word, and deed - Forgive Me! 
• When I am pissed off - please calm me!  
• When others need U - help me to B an extension of U for them!

Grow my mustard seed faith so that I will stand and serve you as directed todo this day, I PRAY!  So-B-It! Amen!

Unrighteous Anger is Murder and the JUDGE is ready to hear UR Case! Holy Buckets! Fix it QUICK!

God's Word:

21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,[a] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister[b][c] will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’[d] is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

25 “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

My Prayer:

Father, I ask 4 UR help! I can't, U can, please do, thank U!  Create in me a clean heart so that I can reconcile my broken relationship with U and also with others.  

I repent of my PRIDE, ENVY, ANGER, LUST, and U know all the others - Please forgive me for my unrighteous thoughts, words, and deeds!

Fill my heart with UR fruit so that I can shine UR wisdom and love throughout my daily interactions. Protect me from the distractions and evil that wants me to fail. 

Show me, Grow me, Prune Me this day! So-B-It! Amen!
